NetropolisIT exists because data loss does not discriminate. Ransomware does not target companies based on size. Hardware does not fail based on budget. And yet the businesses most likely to be caught without a working backup are the ones that can least afford to recover from it.
Our mission is to change that, one business at a time. We believe every company deserves a backup solution that is architected with intention, tested with discipline, and managed with ownership. Not bundled in as a checkbox. Not handed off to a generalist. Not forgotten until the day it is needed most.
We also believe deeply in education. Too many businesses are destroyed not by bad intentions but by bad information. They did not know their backup was failing. They did not know ransomware was targeting businesses exactly like theirs. They did not know that an untested backup is not a backup at all. Part of our job is making sure that changes, because a business owner who understands the risk is a business owner who can protect against it.

Our Story
NetropolisIT opened in early 2026 and from the beginning the response was clear. This was something the market had been waiting for.
We did not start this company because backup technology was broken. We started it because the way backup was being handled was broken. In our years working in IT infrastructure we saw the same story repeat itself over and over. A business would reach out after a crisis: a ransomware attack, a server failure, a sudden need to restore. What we found on the other side was almost always the same picture. Backups that had been running silently for months with errors nobody caught. Licensing that had quietly expired with no alert and no renewal. No documentation of who owned the system, what it covered, or how to operate it. Days spent tracking down contacts and procedures while the business sat at a standstill bleeding revenue and trust.
The common thread in almost every case was not malice or negligence. It was that backup was never treated as a core service. It was bundled into a broader IT package managed by a team whose specialty was everything else. Nobody was watching it the way it deserved to be watched. Nobody owned it the way it needed to be owned.
We built NetropolisIT to fix that. Every architecture we design is logged, tested, documented, and monitored with the precision of a team that does nothing else. Since opening we have been recognized for exactly that. Not just for the service we provide but for the standard we hold ourselves to and the clarity we bring to a part of IT that has gone overlooked for far too long.
